I seen this movie and it has to be the most admirable and realistic movie made yet depicting the life of a firefighter and family.

Saw the movie last night thought it was very realistic could have had a happier tone to it but hey what we do is dangerous and all of that could definetly happen.

I am an aspiring fire fighter hopeful and I saw this movie tonight. While I don't feel discouraged about my dream career, it did make me rethink some of the true scenarios I may have to deal with. I am either weak or too sensitive (same thing?) but I'm the type that may vomit if I were to see something too gory.

Don't get discouraged. There are many positions available within a fire department, you don't need to do interior work. The majority of the work involved (especially in volunteer departments) is ensuring everything is ready for when the emergency call comes in and also cleaning up after a call.
