Is it just me, or did anyone else notice that although every other olympic venue was devoid of spectators, the beach vollyball stands where full?
Could it be the fairly revealing uniforms?;)

ATTENTION FIRE FIGHTERS ATTENDING THE WILDWOOD CONVENTION!

Before you attend any event touted as a "Fire Fighters Beach Volleyball Game"...STOP. Close your eyes. Picture the overwhelming majority of fire fighters (male or female) that you know wearing nothing but a thong or a skimpy bikini.

Not a very pretty sight, is it. You may proceed to gouge your eyes out with a spoon.

Sadley, I know a couple of guys at work that told me they got into trouble with their wives for watching it and the wives were pretty mad at the Olympic people for allowing that leval of dress.

Coming from the Pacific Ocean liven on the beach for years, its just another day in paradise as far as im concerned
:D

Below is rule 5.1 of the U.S. Ourdoor Volleyball Association Rule Book.

EQUIPMENT
A player's clothing must be presentable and appropriate for the competition.Players on the same team are permitted to wear clothing of different colors and designs. Players may wear hats, visors or sunglasses at their own risk. Players may play barefoot, in socks or in booties.

"Presentable and appropriate" seems to cover it quite nicely from where I stand on the matter!!

Oh yeah forgot this part LOL .... 45C is frickinggg HOT

TEMPERATURE CONVERSION
45 degrees Celsius equals 113 degrees Fahrenheit
