HNN8133: 7.5V/1200mAh LTD- Battery IS
The intrinsically safe 1200mAh battery will set you back about $100.

HNN8308: 7.5V/600mAh NiCD Slim Battery IS
The 600mAh version will be about ten bucks less.

Thats a good price for that radio IMO.
I paid 200 for my gp300 vhf hiband about 3 yrs ago its only a 2 channel.

On the batteries check e-bay. I got two refurbed batteries they are 1200mA 7.5V for 30 bux including shipping last year. They are doing pretty damn good.
