Earlier today the Maumee FD was dispatched to a structure fire, with personnel responding one of the POC members and a Maumee Police cruiser came together. Preliminary reports injuries do not appear to be life threating. ..............more info as it become available.

FOX 36 is going to have the video from the cop's dash cam at 10 tonight. I'll try and tape it if anybody wants a copy.

I've also heard rumors that the firefighter is not getting much backing from the city and some local media outlets are working on stories about "reckless volunteer firemen with red lights on their cars." BE CAREFUL BROTHERS & SISTERS!

I will be at Rossford for SFS all week. Stop by and you can check out the tape. (Also 730 wants you to stop by too)

Man you had me confused for a minute there, trying to decipher "SFS".

I saw the tape on the news before leaving work the other night, it was pretty amazing.

The cop involved is a friend of mine, and my squad leader on Guard weekends. Last I talked to him he's at home and pretty banged up but nothing major.

I don't know, I never heard anything about his injuries.
