What are other CT depts using?

TCFD uses a 2-tag system. One gets clipped on the truck and the other is attached to a board at the point of entry. We have SOG's that define different levels of accountability and what happens to th tags once we got to the next level.

In Glastonbury we are doing the same thing. 2 tags one goes on the apperatus the other goes in a leather bucket with the safety officer. The system is pretty crude to say the least. Unfortunatly not all the the stations abide by the system either. Hopefully in the not to distant future the bugs will be worked out.

We have an electronic tagging system in Vernon. All members tag into a little machine that looks like a gas meter. There is then a transfer tag that can then be given to the staging officer to load all the members into him computer. Each sector has a computer. Neat little expensive system.
