Busy volunteer dept's near ct

Hi my name is matt and I am a firefighter in ct.. Im looking for a volly dept near ct that is really busy and in an urban setting to gain some more fire/ems experience. every dept like that in Ct is career. Just lookin for some info on dept's that might take members outside of thier area. I have been a firefighter for 4 years in Ct and I also was a volly on prince georges county, md for 7 months.

Well, my town and fire department are right on the border of CT.. However, we are rural, and probably not up to the amount of calls that you are looking for.

As far as taking in people not from the area we have a policy that you must be within 10 miles of the fire house.

I know that probably does not help you out, but at least it is a reply.
