HAGERMAN, Idaho -- Lynlea Jayo and Josh Traughber's prom night is a tale of the tape -- duct tape.
The Hagerman high school students made their prom outfits out of the handyman's best friend. Lynlea covered an old sheet with three rolls of black and red tape -- for an hourglass-shaped gown with spaghetti straps.
Josh covered a thrift-store jacket with black and white duct tape.
Together, tape for their outfits cost just about $60. But they hope to win some big bucks.
Duck brand duct tape is offering $2,500 in scholarships and another $2,500 for the winners' school, in a national contest.
