Buffalo and Niagara Falls FD

I am wondering if any knows any of the employment requirments for the Niagara Falls F.D. and if they are expected to be hiring at all.

I am a NYS EMT-B as well as a local volunteer firefighter planning on completing Firefighter I & II.

I am considering taking the tests for both f.d's (even though Buffalo FD wont be hiring for DECADES!) and seeing what happens. I figure I will be going to college for (2) years and maybe by then I would hopefully get called back.

Any information would be helpful.
