Does anyone use any EMS software for run reports that can transfer to the States EMSIRS?

We are wanting to eliminate the process of our paper run sheet, and then re entering the information on the incindent reporting system.

What, if anything are you folks using?

Pros?

Cons?

pfd, this is something we are lookign at also. I'm not sure when we'll get it, but I know they want to pursue it. Supposedly there is some billing company in central OH area that will give depts the notebooks to do the reports on if you use them for your billing. Supposedly they can get grants to pay for the puters.

the state gave me a list of vendors

We are requesting a trial copy of Emfotec Informations Systems
www.emspcr.com reporting software. It is one of the PC run sheets that has already been tested compatible with the state EMSIRS, and the pricing seems in line.

We have been talking about it, I know a neighboring dept is working on getting this done....still trying to get the bugs worked out. I'll try and find out what system and company they are using.

I will do that. Do you know if all/any are compatible with Firehouse software?

The ones that are compatible with Firehouse software usually state that up front.
