As much as I hate conceeding defeat to you damn yankees....Thank God the Panthers lost. I dunno if I could have dealt with the deluge of the Panthers bandwagon fans.
I do have to give Panthers owner Jerry Richardson credit. He promised the sheep here that the Panthers would get to the Super Bowl withing 10 years. This year was the 9th for the Panthers.

Richard Kraft & Jerry Richardson are both good, decent owners.
Both teams had great "blue-collar" philosphies of defense & do what it takes to get it done.
Both great, really evenly matched teams...I'm not a sports nut, but I'd say that was a damn good game with no score for 24+ minutes until the defenses started getting tired (get the impression Ty Law will be having a talk with a couple of rookies who screwed up late in the game?). Then they both had offenses that just wouldn't quit.
Great teams, great game.
And this New England team has a chance to do it again in the next year or two -- 3 in 6 will give us the bragging rights to one of the best teams in history.

Hmm... speaking of somebody's name I didn't hear all night... Get the impression that Carolina payed very close attention to Law's performance at the Pats/Colts game?
