delaware as boring as it sounds is pretty active and i enjoy being a junior fire fighter here...
yesterday we recovered a body from a pond that was there for a good 2 monthes...pretty interesting...
i guess all the action is in new castle but sussex has some fun...
there's always something happening but it is normally with the elderly folks...
or drunk people...
and the diabetics...
but they call for medics for "diabetic difficulties"
and sorry for my spelling
and the way we conduct the roads with the fire police is a little absurd...
and they misunderstand a lot of things but i love it!

Hang in there young lady. Things have a tendency to pick up. Firefighting tends to get interesting once you have been to several calls that have fire or work some EMS calls.

Don't get down because you were on a call that some one had drown or drunk folks find the tree along side the road that no else could find.

Study hard, take plenty of courses and get down to Dover to the state fire school and see my old buddy Joe down there.

Be careful and always remember every one goes home after your shift is over.
