Borrowed these from another Fire Site down here, but the truck and layout are exactly the same.
Hino truck. Our ladder is 10' longer than the one shown here, rear locker is open showing the portable pump stowage, right rear and lower lockers carry MVA extraction equipment on our truck.
4 spare BA cylinders and No 4 set carried in front lower locker.
4 x 4" by 10' suction hoses and Aluminium ladder carried in trays on top.
Yes that is a high pressure reel (booster) at the back.
FlyingKiwi

Other side.
left rear carries haz-mat suits and kits, general tools etc, first aid kit. Center rear carries all sorts of bits for hoses, thingies to put on the end, stuff to go in the middle, nobbly bits that divide water, and others that put it together again.
front locker is the pump panel lower, and 90mm feeder flaked through to the other side, 120 metres, with 45mm (2 3/4") attack lines flaked above.
My normal seat is sitting behind the driver in the first photo. YES that is the right hand side, you guys drive on the WRONG side of the road.
3 BA sets in the cab, OIC, and two in the rear. rear seats 3, 4 with the two outside guys hanging 1/2 out the windows (it was designed for Japanese, not 6' Kiwi's. :p

This is not my motor, but an exact clone. There were nine in that order and this is one of them. It's a 2002 Ferrara Inferno. I'll have to keep looking around on my puter for an actual pic of mine. My digi cam is crummy, so I don't have a lot of GOOD pics. I'll see what I can find.

ff7134 - you see green? Must have been a bad lunch...
It's true, back in mid 70's we switched from red to lime-yellow. We did our own very scientific test. We parked two trucks with almost a truck's worth of space between them and took a picture. People could not tell where the trucks were and where the space was. We then took the same picture with a lime-yellow truck, and all of sudden, there was the truck, there was the space. Of course, now that there are lights everywhere and reflective striping, you don't get the same problems, but the color always makes us standout at scenes. Other company in town is red with black tops, like Chicago (they did this after Backdraft came out - losers)

Don't worry Bones42, SAFD went through the lime-yellow years as well. We are still in the process of phasing in red... Here is a shot of the "old" 33 motor.

Here's a pic of me pushing water with Engine One.
Two-7 usually pushes water, but we switched spots and this time he got to work my nozzle while I worked his pump (I liked the nozzle better)

Okay well, for those interested in things a little bit different. I'll show some pics of our "little" toys out here. Nowhere near as big or shiny as our US counter-parts.... but they do the job just fine ;-) Apologies for all the values being in litres, am unsure about the litre to gallon conversions. (Anyone care to help??)

I dunno, its not our truck, someone emailed this to me a while ago, and since I don't have any good pics of my own trucks, I went with this.
I imagine tho the poor chief of who this truck actually belonged wasn't too happy. :)
