Alas! A holiday that has a minimum of commercialization done to it! Is it just me, or have you seen Christmas things out since Halloween was over?!?

May everyone have a happy & safe Thanksgiving spent with friends & family!

Happy Turkey-Day to you too! May everyone's Thanksgiving guts be stuffed!:D

Is it just me, or have you seen Christmas things out since Halloween was over?!?

I saw Christmas things out weeks before Halloween. It's always rediculously early. Seems like it's sooner and sooner every year that that stuff comes out.

Well, our Thanksgiving Day has gotten off to a firey start.

That's 3 shifts in a row that we have had structures. At least we got this one out of the way soon enough to have time to cook.

It's 8ish (PM) here in downtown Maryland, We've just gotten up from the table and everyone is stuffed. First 20 hours has been about average, 4 EMS Assists, 1 Auto Accident, 2 Structures, and 3 Automatic Alarms. Along with extending our best wishes for the Holiday, I'd like to reflect for a moment on the reason for the day. Giving thanks is something that sometimes gets put aside in the pace of life in this age. But today, in the spirit of thanksgiving, Stop, Look around, think about what you are thankful for. For me, It's Family, Health, and still being a part of the greatest Brotherhood on Earth. Stay Safe....
