Well...no, not THAT Dennis Miller.
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (AP) - A deputy fire chief was charged with
theft for allegedly using gasoline from the town pump for personal
use.
Dennis A. Miller, 43, faces two counts of theft for allegedly
stealing nine gallons of gas during two trips to the pump in
October.
Miller did not immediately return a call Thursday morning from
The Associated Press.
According to court papers, Miller on at least one occasion wrote
in the log that he needed the gas for "fire school," although
investigators found no evidence of fire training going on at that
time.
Miller acknowledged taking the fuel for his personal vehicle
because he didn't have money to pay for gas, police said.
