Reimbursement Rates??

If your dept is eligible to be reimbursed for a call, what rate would you like to charge for men and equipment?

Example; you respond to a brush fire that is caused by someone burning without a permit. It takes 2 pieces of apparatus and 10 FF's 4 hours to extinguish and overhaul. Judge slaps the offender with a fine and orders "restitution". What rate would you like to bill for your apparatus and what rate would you like to bill for your FF's?

Looking for input as Maine Forest Service is considering revising some very old rate tables that some judges use for reference.

Not that I have the numbers in front of me or anything, but are you looking for wildland/forestry reimbursement only, or additional things like haz-mat, extrication, etc.

Basically, looking for input on the Maine Forest Service rate tables that some judges use for reference. Rates are very low.
