:D Happy Birthday Ed from the Malahat Extrication Team currently competing in the regional competition in Cumberland. We did our first run today and in your honor 27 managed to break a heavy duty seat belt cutter.
:D

The second run is tomorrow with limited tools. We'll try to break something else in your honor.

NJFFSA16 celebrated his birthday on Saturday, September 20, 2003.
In a telephone call from President George W. Bush, President Bush congratulated Ed for his victory over the Broncos in Super Bowl XXXVII. Ed was gracious and thanked him. Ed noted to our reporter that he doesn't watch hockey, but he plays tournament washers from time to time.
When asked if he planned anything special for his birthday, Ed said that he was going to have " the best damned Hungry-Man meal money could buy and would be going out for ice cream at the local Dairy Queen. He had a two for one coupon on any small sundae. Nuts extra, of course.
Ed; sorry I'm a day late. I was extremely busy yesterday and didn't see it. Hope you had a great day. I just hope you didn't miss a story while you were out celebrating.:p
Thanks for your great stories and commentaries. You deserve a night out!
Happy birthday.

My turn to throw in 2 cents worth of HAPPY BIRTHDAY. As promised Ed, I did manage to break a second tool, a life hammer this time, while doing....

Yep you guessed it, breaking glass. I had to use a ballpeen hammer to break the rear glass and then when the side glass failed to break on the first two hits of the life hammer, I wound up for a 3rd, and wouldn't you know it, the bloody thing snapped in half! So out came the ballpeen hammer to finish the job.

I hope you had a great day on your birthday! The Malahat Extrication team did a pretty good job of helping to celebrate with you, in our own way.
