Lights on and nobody home. It had to be made by the Governmet. It is obvious that someone messed up big time. I know I didn't see the writting on the bottom till I looked closer with my bifocals. I wonder how they expect the eldy to be able to see the bottom. I guess when someone loose their life they will change the sign. I ask my DOT one time to put a child at play sign up in a trailer court where I lived once. This is the reply I got." If we do that then the children will think they can play in the road and be safe."

:p :p :p Reminds me of one I saw in MAD magazine about30 or35 years ago. It read:
DO NOT READ THIS SIGN UNDER PENALTY OF BYLAW 1-25 $50 FINE.

Wanted to put one up when I was on council just to show we had a sense of humour. Never got it done. Guess I was the only one that thought it was funny.

Ya we played in the hen house for a bit, but then Kiwi brought out the flourescent coloured "guard sheep", and I seem to remember rescuing Tempie's "unmentionables" from the flag pole at one point too.... mmmmmmm......

The Habookees have taught me to be at one with the signs...to no longer fear them, but embrace them as my brothers...I have been raised to a higher level of awareness. I tried to get a pet sign, but you have to have a permit.

The City of Bowie, Md. placed signs on Milan Way (Very short connector between two main streets) which reads "No Thru Pedestrians". I've seen a lot of "No Thru Trucks" even a couple of "No Thru Traffic", but Pedestrians? A call to city hall resulted in the answer "We have no clue". Right! Stay Safe....

Of course I had to do it right? Someone posts a link and I just had to look. Well I looked and for some reason I was neither suprised nor disappointed. I don't know what I expected, but coming from a fellow Firefighter....wwwwwwelllll... .. I'm sitting here both nodding my head and shaking it.

I think I am at a loss for words. I think I was suckered in, and yep I got "caught". LOL :D Nice little animation story there Safety, good work.
