Henrico Firefighters decided to see if their
turnout gear was waterproof-the hard way,by
performing a rescue in harsh, dangerous conditions.
As usual they were up to the challenge.
There's been so much rain in Virginia
lately,citizens are thinking about
starting boat co-ops.But this didn't
phase the determination of Henrico
FFs a bit.
Standing outside yesterday in Va,
it was like being under a waterfall,
literally.
The Henrico crew had to endure
unrelenting,drenching downpours,
a family that was in a very
delicate,dangerous situation,
and the media while they were
working the rescue.Like the
brave troopers they are,
they endured and
the family,which included a
4 yr old child, are safe and
snug tonight.
Thanks Henrico.
