I am Looking for info, working in Colorado, I am an experienced working Fla.Firefighter Paramedic, many quals and certs, what is job out look? willing to start at entry level.....

The springs is hiring really soon and they really need paramedics.

South Meto Fire (http://www.southmetro.org)

South Metro is currently on a hiring freeze, but rumors are that they will hire for next spring (march 2004).

That is just a couple of the departments. You'll need to be more specific on info that you want. I'll try to help as much as I can.

The Aurora Fire Dept. Takes laterals.
You will only have to take an oral interview.
You can lateral into a higher pay scale depending on
your yrs. of experiance.
Colo. Springs F.D. has similar program.
