THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS NOTICE OF CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION
Firefighter San Marcos, Texas
EXAMINATION DATE: April 9, 2003 QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: * Must possess a Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, or Master Structure Fire Protection Personnel Certification from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection or documentation from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection stating that the applicant is certified as a firefighter at the time of entrance examination. * Applicants must be at least nineteen (19) years of age and not over thirty-five (35) years of age at the time of the entrance examination. * Must be a high school graduate or have equivalency certificate certified by the issuing agency (i.e.: Texas Education Agency). * Proof of valid Texas or out-of-state driver's license with an acceptable driving record. * Ability to read and write the English language, extensive background investigation, oral interviews, and complete physical examination is required. * Other requirements as set forth in the City of San Marcos Civil Service Rules and Regulation
