Hey y'all, my sister and family will be moving to Ft Campbell sometime late Feb or maybe March next year. (After my Bro-in-law gets home from his tour in Korea). Apparently she could also end up in the Tennesse side, (?) depending on which unit he gets.

Steve some sort of army helo-techie type. Anyhow just wondering if any of you who are from that area, I might put my sis in touch with to say hello and maybe give her some touristy type info.

BTW she is a Woman of the Tundra who "headed south for the winter" and kinda never made it home again! :p Musta been somethin' in the water; she met Steve in Seol, Korea and moved with him to Ft Bragg, popped a daughter, then moved on to Ft Hood (where she popped a second daughter.)

Awright! Your sister is on her way to my beloved home state!

I live in the far eastern end of the state, but here's a link to some tourism info for the entire Commonwealth.

Land Between the Lakes is a fantastic area not far from Ft. Campbell. In fact, we have more inland waterways than any other state besides MN & AK, if I remember correctly.

While they're military-ing around, they should bop in to Fort Knox and see the Patton Museum and the big thingamajig where they keep all the gold.

If they're car fans, the Corvette factory is in Bowling Green, along with a museum dedicated to Corvettes.

I was stationed there with the 101st and 50 Med Company many moons ago.
What was nice is I was born in a small town in Tennessee about 30-40 miles from there and had family in Springfield, just a small piece down the road.
Beautiful country, but her hubbie will most likely spend a LOT of time in the field.
FWIW, I'd go back in a minute, but the wife won't go for the South.

Keep safe Brothers and Sisters
