Is this a serious article? It looks like something you'd see on The Onion (http://www.theonion.com)

“If it turns out that I’m actually the one who did it, then looking for the real killers would be a big old waste of time,” Simpson said.

OJ spends three hours a day...looking for the killer on golf courses...:D

See what no one seems to understand is that the killer is a golf freak and hides on the course behind a different name. It was Kilroy that did it ya thats it. Then framed OJ for it.

I had to read it twice to actually believe what I as reading. But after looking a little closer, being on the Opinion page and being written by a comedian, I see the humor.

Got me!:D

I get the "big red truck" award on this, too. I e-mailed it to News of the Weird AND started this thread without realizing it was fake. NOTW e-mailed back and corrected me.

But I wonder if there is a morsel of truth to Johnnie Cochran's second thoughts.

EastK, I think I have to give you support in your last thoughts about whether there is any truth in the original story or not. As with most "stories" that turn to be hoaxes, there is usually some element of truth in them, or at least in the general direction of listed events anyway.

Hey - killers golf too, why not look for them at the course?!

P.S.: The phrases "Johnny Cochrane" and "pretty smart guy" should never be contained in the same sentence - that it itself was a clue that it was a joke!

By the way - O.J. lost one of his golf gloves - anybody seen it?!?!

Johnnie was on The View the other week. He stated that after he defended OJ and Puff Daddy, he decided that he didn't want to do criminal law anymore. So he's just a civil law lawyer now.
