Now we need Tempies portable spa arrangement under the shade of them trees over there.

*There's a loud rustling noise in the bushes.* Our fearless firefighters who risk life and limb to run into burning buildings and rescue the stranded, stand poised, ready....

*The rustling is getting louder... it's coming closer*

Then suddenly "OUCH!!! Who put that there?" *Tempie emerges from the bushes, looking rather disheveled, with little bits of tree caught in her hair. Her arms full, dragging a salvage cover behind her filled with all the camping necessities*

Cheffie ... I brought seasonal fruit, nice and ripe and juicy. Just incase anyone wants a little something to dribble down their chin ;)

*more rustling behind Tempie, much louder followed by thumps and grunts* Once again the fearless men of our camp stand poised... ready... to run and climb the nearest tree at the first sign it is a bear.

"OUCH!!! What is that? Hey! Lady! Where are you taken us? We are just supposed to deliver, not go on a nature hike!" Several men carrying cases of liquid refreshments emerge from the bushes.

If someone would please direct these men to the beer tent, there is more coming ;) I have once again used my powers of persuasion to attain some refreshments. :D And Ice... I have Ice too.

Now can someone help me? I need to get a tent pitched, a weenie in my belly, and some Guinness would be great too ;)

Cheffie, Pfire, Tempie, and all of you other fine ladies. I haven't heard that you brought sunscreen or insect repellent. Come now, we're camping in August - what were you thinking? Being the chivalrous fellow I am, I brought extra. I'll be glad to rub some on you if you'd like.

As a state certified fire instructor, I'll take care of setting all fires. I guarantee that all will be set according to NFPA 1403, using class A combustibles only - no flammable liquid accelerants. Bet I can get things blazing with only 1 match.

Cheffie, how are you at cooking venison? A deer leaped out in front of me on the way to the campgrounds. I field dressed it and hung it from a tree outside the camp. We'll butcher it in the morning and we can have fresh venison for dinner.

Hi, just wondering exactly how much crust you need to be invited to this campout. Does a willingness to earn more crust count? At 21, I hardly have enough experience for it to really count yet, but someone felt I deserved the position of capt, so that should count for something. I'd love to party with all of you, if I'm welcome. I can't cook, and I'm not much for chasing bears...but, I have a feeling I could help with pitching those tents maybe. And, I'm all about skinny dipping in the woods....any one mind a new girl?

**Lots of rustling in the bushes... "Damn road maps! Who the heck sent out these directions? FF26, was that you who wrote these up?"

**"Mumble... mumble... Stupid bears...mumble mumble..." "Oh ok, over here... I found some sheep but who let these cows loose? Hope we don't start a stampede or something."

"Hey Pfire, I think we found the place. About time too - I was starting to get hungry and thirsty."**

Alright you lot! :) Pfire and Malahat Two-7 have arrived on scene, with plenty of additional ice, Guinness and Gibsons whiskey. Oh and we brought in some extra sun screen and insect repellent too - can't be too carefull at this time of the year.

I think we will set up our tent just over here, just up from the beach... gotta have a good "Beach Patrol" on hand at all times right? Got my kisbey ring and 100 foot safety line right here. Safety first and all. **what better way to - oh ya... better not uummmmmm - ya**** :D

Nice job with the shower tent and Cheffie, your culinary delights are awesome as always. If it wasn't for the smell of the BBQ's and cook fires I think we would still be looking for this place.

Don't mind if I do, PWC606....I really would like to get to know people in here a little better.

Ya know, speaking of bears, a funny thing happened to me this weekend. While out on a real camping trip(sleepign in a cabin, though), a black bear decided to pay us all a visit. He came right up to the cabin during the night. A certain female, just slightly under the influence, woke up to it looking in the window at her. And, while she screamed about the bear, everyone else just screamed at her to shut up. Finally, someone else came and saw it. It left as peacefully as it came, although I'm suprised someone didn't have to change her bed sheets.

Anyway, I'm headed to the hot tub, have fun all.

Hope everyone remembered to bring their parkas and boots, it typically snows on long weekends up here in the country of the "Women of the Tundra" :D

Beer first, then I'll get into DJ mode and will take requests until the "entertainment from 26's bachelor party" show starts. Oh, and for the ladies welllllllll ..... *Sher opens the door of the Motorhome with a flourish* I made 26 stop and pick up these Chippendale dancers when their bus broke down outside of Banff :p :p

That life form that lurks in the waters lives very near a hollow reed that stick up from the depths below. It's known to take great pleasure in observing the beauty of women of the tundra, women of the foggy coast, and women of fire & EMS as they swim by. HHHMMMMM.... beachside views, BBQ, campfire (hope the fire index allows for that???), floaty chairs, hot tub, cold beer awesome food and good company. What more could you ask for in a day?

Just a question though: did anyone remember to bring extra fuel for the generators and small motors? I think I will be back shortly.... gotta be careful we don't run out of fuel - wouldn't want the tunes or hot tub pumps to go down for lack of combustables - that would be very very very bad :( Gotta keep the coolers running too, no ice for drinks is equally as bad.

Say.... did anyone remember to bring the "bubble tent" from the last party? Does anyone even remember where we left it or who has it? I was thinking we could rig up a slip & slide kind of deal from the top of the beach down to the waters edge, with the bubble makers flowing down hill. Using environmentally friendly bubbles of course. :)

Anyhow, while everyone scratches their heads on where the bubble tent is, I will slip away with Pfire to see if we can find some extra gas and propane.

I walked in and the band just started
the singer couldn't care a tune in a bucket
Was on a mission to drown her memory but
I thought no way with all this rukus

But after one round with Jose Cuervo
I caught my boots tapping along with the beat
And After two rounds with Jose Cuervo
The band was sounding pretty darn good to me

Then some stranger asked me to dance
and i reviled to her my two left feet
Said "Don't get me wrong, im glad you asked,
But tonight's about beating an old memory

Then after Three rounds with Jose Cuervo
I let her lead me out on the floor
And after Four rounds with Jose Cuervo
I was showing off moves never seen before

Well, round five or round six
I forgot what I came to forget
After Round seven, Or was it eight?
I bought a round for the whole dang place

And after nine rounds with Jose Cuervo
They were counting me out and i was about to give in
Then after ten rounds with Jose Cuervo
I lost count and started drinking again

No sleeping bag, No tent.
No Shoes, No Shirt
I'm just passed out down by the lake.

P.S. Why is my pillow all of a sudden furry?

Kiwi,
Thanks for providing a cover story for the lake lurker. Didn't you notice how the "geysers" were about 3-4 feet from the hollow reed? Didn't you notice they only appeared about 2-3 hours after meals?

Ooops - the secret is out.

Now, about that underwater camera....

Well Captstan, I am having to agree with you on the subject of whose minds are in which gutter cuz my reference to "streaking" was not in the naked format but in the mode of "extreme speed" as in to leave a streak - but no matter.

On the other hand, Stayback, I must say that your pic is one mighty fine specimen. I am thinking that perhaps you will need a body guard or two to fend off the female hordes. No fear of Pfire, but I can't speak for some of the others. :D

Malahat methinks thou protest too much ..... coulda swore I saw your naked butt go "streaking" past on your sprint to the lake, nice grab of the Guinness by the way .... are you planning on trying out for the Firefighters Olympic Guinness Relay Team?? :D

"I am glad I brought my battery powered..................... "

ummmmm CaptStan I thought maybe you perhaps did a little shopping at 26's bachelor party in PFire's (I think, memories a bit fuzzy) boutique of goodies? A blender??? how disappointing :( sigh ...
and really ..... my top isn't quite THAT big!!! Big yes, saddle bags big ..... hmmmmmmm I don't think so LOL. Well at least I can stop strip searching all the guys .... I KNEW pwc must have had something to do with my missing top!

CJ would you like some company in the hot tub? Even with all this alcohol I've sucked up there seems to be a bit of a "fall" chill in the air tonight.

Sher cries in Nancy Kerrigan voice "WHY, WHY, WHY is summer only 2 months long?? wahhhhhhhhhh" *mumbles to self* brutal winter non-existant spring, 2 blizzards in May with 6 inches of snow, barely melts and 3', yes THREE <*F*insert bad swearword here yaya you know the one I like to use*N*> FEET OF SNOW, an OK June, JULY OMG over +30 every day up to +36 ugh, early August SNOW (almost the record for August, but not quite LMFAOOOOOOO its happened before - what can I say ALBERTA WEATHER HAHAHA) some drab wet rainy cool days, plus some more +25 to +30 days and a few with normal temps (+21 to +24) now September BOOM <sigh> fall has arrived with a vengeance. wahhhhhhhhhhh summer seems to be over!!!

Wayne, were did you get a 4k gal Guinness tanker? I see a 3 ton delivery truck pretty much every day going up the Island and then back down, but I've never seen a tanker truck yet.

As for power sources, vehicles are nice, but they normally are not rigged for the sort of punishement that we seem to put them to when we are "out and about". I am pretty sure that I saw a 50k generator on a trailer a little while ago, so I know that will power up pretty much anything we could throw at it. Hence the protest of streaking, I was just on my way out to grab more fuel.

However Respct, that was a pretty good cannon ball into the tub! And thanks for the comment on the relay... 26 and I are kinda working on that one for next years Evolutions and the Make and Break event. Gotta work on our timing and technique.

To help ward off any bears, mutts or pups, I, the FireCougar, responsible for being the doorman at 26's bachelor party have comissioned (with Kiwi's approval) a group of elite penguins to safeguard the area... Now mind you, these are no ordinary penguins.. they are the most foul, cruel and mean-tempered avens you ever laid your eyes on! (Cue Monty Python Video Clip)

Afterall, somebody had to stay back and sort mail! Have a few pints for me, gang!

Now then, those of you shooting at those penguins for beer stealing be forewarned.. they can become quite dangerous when deprived of beer. Don't worry.. a new shipment of Guiness just arrived this morning.. it's being distributed as we speak.

NOT starting a joke session. thought you might like this.

True story from Orange County: A man goes to a party and has too much to drink. His friends plead with him to let them take him home. He says no - he only lives a mile away. About five blocks from the party the police pull him over for weaving and ask him to get out of the car and walk the line. Just as he starts, the police radio blares out a notice of a robbery taking place in a house just a block away. The police tell the party animal to stay put, they will be right back - and they run down the street to the robbery. The guy waits and waits and finally decides to drive home. When he gets there, he tells his wife he is going to bed, and to tell anyone who might come looking for him that he has the flu and has been in bed all day. A few hours later the police knock on the door. They ask if Mr. X lives there and his wife says yes. They ask to see him and she replies that he is in bed with the flu and has been so all day. The police have his driver's license. They ask to see his car and she asks why. They insist on seeing his car, so she takes them to the garage and opens the door where they find: the police car, lights still flashing. This true story was told by the driver at his first AA meeting, according to the newspaper account.

Don't Mess With Granny

An elderly woman spent a leisurely shopping at the mall. Upon return to her vehicle, she found four strange males sitting in her car. Frightened, the woman dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun. She told the men that if they did not get out of the car, she would shoot. The four men ran off quickly, whereupon the lady got into the car. Her key, however, would not fit. The woman realized that her car was the identical one parked a few spaces down. She drove to the police department and reported the story. The officer on duty laughed hysterically and pointed to the other end of the counter where four pale men had reported a hijacking by a mean old lady; no charges were filed.

Losing our bathing suits won't make any difference as to whether or not any of us girls keep on partying ... it hasn't stopped us so far, or through all the other summer parties ;)

Nice company you're keeping there Steve LOL, nice of you to bring them to the party out here in the bushes for the guys to enjoy  :D

Since I'm the only chick in sight at the moment I guess I'll just go sit over here with the Chippendale dancers, they are getting a bit restless waiting for Tempie to arrange the stage show like she did for the other parties :p :D

Oh....OUCH...careful Tempie, my heads a little sore yet.

NJ sipped on a cool pale ale...after the cute nurses offered a sponge bath to the injured firefighter.

Hey...ya know it looks kinda swollen NJ....is there anything we can do to make it feel better?

NJ was incoherent...and after a few moments he looked up, focused his eyes.. and realized they were gazing at his lap.

Oh my.....what the?!! Lemme see that pill bottle!!!

NJ stumbles out of the tent...followed by Tempie and Cheffie. He appears to be suffering complete exhaustion. He attempts to speak.

"Un je azon. Enyon nu mi ã," he proclaims. Glancing down, he notices that his legs are covered in mud. "Un kwiji din. Na lewu mi," he says. Tempie smiles. "Enyo Ganji!" she whispers, and follows NJ as he heads toward the waterfall. Cheffie decides to head into town."Un na yi axime kpo na xo nu kpede," she says. "Mi na du xwe din, kpo mi na duwe gangi.

NJ smiles and winks at Tempie. "Fifa na no xa mi.... Ami!"

They both wonder...why are we speaking Fongbe, yet thinking English?

It's a Forums thing....Guiness induced. Off to the waterfalls they go, hand in hand...skipping into the early morning sun. Another day of frolicking in Fongbe awaits them. "Sobe do. Do yi so!"
