webteam closed LT's bar... I will not claim this one as mine, but as a place to go till LT can open a new one. In addition to the usual, we'll also serve Yuengling (people in PA give a cheer). For the less beer savy, or you just haven't had the pleasure visit Yuengling (http://www.yuengling.com/) , sit back and enjoy America's oldest brewery and the best thing to come out of PA besides Philly Cheesesteaks.

LT, open a bar soon, I can't be behind the bar for long and still read people's ID...

Later all, Drew

This is a flat reminder to all users, some of who have been temporarily removed from the ability to post.

The following has NO place on Firehouse.com

- Posts that include reference to sexual inneundo, sex, etc.
- Posts that include profanity, including if its 'XXd' out
- Posts that make fun a a religious or ethnic group
- Posts that single out other forum users in a joking fashion without their knowledge or involvement (i.e. all in fun)

We have let the leash go a little bit with the Off Duty Forums and will continue to, assuming all of the above guidelines and those in our Terms of Service are followed.

Thanks
WebTeam

so what about "heres one for flying kiwi"

At eight pages it is a little bit more than ONE, and has no relevance to me at all.

It also sure as heck breaks all the rules listed

It was my fault. I opened a commercial establishment in a Residential area. SORRY.

I'll be tending bar at the IACOJ headquarters. Stop by for a Guinness, and a Joke.

The rules have been noted and logged in the offical log book for future reference.

I guess it is a good thing we had my bachalor party when we did, because we destroyed those rules...

I think that party set a record for the longest online firefighter party.... I know there are still one or three of us still going at it...

did you see the Yuengling site... that's education!!! Bet you did not know the oldest (and possibly the best...personal opinion of course) brewery in the US is in Pottsville PA.

We'll also have Shiner Bock, for all my friends and ex's live in Texas.

**ALS walks in, with a nice fat Sinatra collection Winston Churchill in his mouth and a tin of Macanudos in hand.(I am allowed to say I smoke cigars in this thread...right?) Who wants one???

With all due respect to the webteam whom I've made it known I've supported their decisions in the past.....I understand several of the policies you outlined on this thread, and I support all of them except two....as long as you don't use slang words or profanity, sex is not a dirty word. It is a fact of life.....The xx'ing out of profanity does not offend me, in fact I like it better that way, if I want to decode it I can, if I don't want to I can skip it. We are a majority of adults and kids in america today are barraged with profanity as it is...so if they can figure you what a few "xx" as letters in a words means, I think its safe to say they've heard it before. I understand we need rules and such to keep it nice in here, but lets not get close to the book burning. Please make no mistake about it, I appreciate all of your efforts, I just wanted to give my opinion.

I too must have crossed over one of the lines because I got my ticket pulled and was reinstated after I reaffirmed that I knew the rules.

I didn't think my jokes would have offended anyone but I guess they did. I just wanted to say that I apologize if I did offend anyone with my jokes.
