Ok...I kinda forgot some of the stuff I wanted to put into this from when I first thought of it till now...but here goes:

The Crusties

Here we come, riding
Down the Street.
We get the dirtiest looks from
Ev’ry Mutt meet.
Hey, Hey, we’re the Crusties
And people say we’re too old to be around.
But we’re too busy fighting fires
To let the administration get us down.

We crawl down dark, smokey hallways,
Do what no one else can do.
We don’t have time to get restless,
There’s always a call that’s new.

We’re just trying to be Crusty,
Fight fire, run EMS, and Extricate.

I was at Walmart picking up cat litter and diapers (I have a bad bladder control problem....THAT'S A JOKE!). I wound up also picking "The Monkees Greatest Hits". I used to listen to in on Vinyl all the time. Anywho, I popped the CD into my car and "The Monkees" started playing and right away "The Crusties" was being formed in my head.

This was certainly worth the keystrokes to get into this thread.

You guys are ****ing geniuses and it amazes me on a daily basis just how creative you guys are. I hoist a gently cascading Guinness in your direction. Long live crust.:cool:
