Well, I have to say that I am a DIE-HARD ER freak!! (Don't laugh!) ;) I have been following that series since long before I ever had any interest in the medical field. I have been watching it since I was 13!!! (ER is in its 8th season and I am now 21.) I keep telling myself that, "next season, I will stop watching"...the storylines keep getting more and more desperate for drama, but I can't bring myself to turn away yet. :) It really is kind of pathetic; once when my VCR was broken, I canceled my Thursday night plans becuase I was going to miss ER! I know, I know...that's really bad! :)

My favorite show of all time was Cheers. Second was Homicide, Life on the Street. I was very upset when NBC pulled these shows. I would have to say for shows currently on the air, that NYPD Blue is my favorite show. I have been watching it since the second episode. Amazing how Sipowicz has changed over the years.

Well, I'm a big Leah Remmini fan and I like that show of hers as well,"King of Queens" I also like "That 70's show" reminds me a lot of my teehood days, the old man "Red" is my father in diguise. Anything from the HBO series also, including the "Real Sex" series and the "Soprano's" and the "Shock Video" series. The funny thing is I watch more TV on the job than I do at home, imagine that?

ER and Third Watch top my list along with Friends. Every Sat night I am planted in front of the TV watching COPS and AMW,love those 2 shows.Trauma:Life in the ER is also another fav in my house.
I also have to admit I love Fear Factor.Would love to try out for the show but I'd have a problem with the weird crap they make people eat. I wont even eat what people consider normal food, no way in heck I would eat pig rectum.:eek:
Capt Gonzo, nice to see another fan of This Old House and New Yankee Workshop. I love Norm Abrams, would love to have an old Gambrel or Saltbox nestled in the Mass. woods for him to help restore. This Old House magazine is worshipped in my house, always great articles in there on do-it-yourself projects.

Well, my personal favorite is Seinfeld. No show was ever funnier than that one. I would have to say that I used to be into to ER, lost interest and am now back. This is because, at the EMS department I work for, everyone is a die-hard ER fan. It has gotten so bad that on the 7p-11p Thursday shift, there are 8-10 members who show up in our station to watch it together. From time to time, you can hear members on Channel 2 (non-scannable radio and dispatch can't hear either) discussing ER or whether or not someone on duty taped the show for members who couldn't watch it. It is kinda sick! :D

Gonzo;
I can't believe that you didn't say the Muppet Show.
My favorite is the Sopranos. My favorite of all time is Leave it to Beaver. I wanted to grow up to be like Gus the Fireman. Emergency! A prerequisite to the IACOJ.

Easy..since I don't watch much tv other than sports and movies..it has to be Sportscenter. Emergency! was one of my favorites as a kid, and I loved when it was on TV Land during the day....but I honestly don't watch many programs other than sports and movies.

Anybody watching The Shield on FX? That's the current favorite at work and home right now. Vic makes Sipowicz look like a saint.
We watch a lot of History Channel and Hockey Night in Canada at work, wife won't let me at home.
Married With Children was the Man Show of it's time, at least until they brought that stupid little kid in and ruined it.
