Wanye, your answer to your song...is the Marine Hymn, and the group originally jammed at Tun Tavern, in Philadelphia, PA on Nov. 10, 1775. I joined the group on tour at Parris Island, SC on 8/23/92. So when can I redeem my points?

Also for those who read that rant that was locked, I'm lost, what is a CV? Maybe you can tell me or to save another argument, maybe you can email me George to tell me. Thanks.

The above is my opinion only and doesn't reflect that of any dept/agency I work for, deal with, or am a member of. :D

If CV is in relation to a ship it is the old aircraft carriers before nuke power. I dont know exactly what CV statnds for, possibly Carrier Vessel, but the old carriers hull numbers were CV-## and now the nuclear powered ones are CVN-##, the N=nuclear. The same thing happened to subs the old boats were SS and are now SSN/SSBN. Hope this helps or maybe some Navy guys out there will please forgive and correct me.

Thanks for posting Shammrock, as a jarhead I'm pretty familiar with the ship markings, but it was a nice review. The CV I'm referring to was in a post that mentioned college degrees and I can't think of the words that would match "CV."

I will be out your way in Oct for the Memorial Weekend in D.C.
Maybe we can meet at 8th and "I"!!:)

Don't think I'll make it down that weekend this year brother. Have baby due on May 11th so I'll be pretty tied up with that. Maybe the firehouse expo sometime, or next year. I'll definately toast one to you too on Nov. 10th.

Semper Fi brother leatherneck!!
