Hello all-

Just a question for those of you whom listen to music (I'm assuming the majority of fire/medical personnel do).

What songs, or types of songs, are popular amongst the Firefighters/EMT's etc as songs to salute our profession? I'm looking to make a mix of music for a CD to use in a presentation for an Academy Graduation ceremony. I have leagal access to many artists' works (I have a big CD collection) but need a bit of guidance. I myself think that I should put every song in. But I don't think our graduating probies and everyone else wants to listen to well over 24 hours of all my music combined!

Any help is appreciated.

I saw your post and wanted share this song with you... not particularly for what you mentioned, but, I thought you might enjoy it...Have you heard the WTC-song called...God Will Prevail-"The Victim's Anthem"? http://susandwiseman.iuma.com or www.iuma.com 4 Minutes of instrumental( remembering in prayer) then, lyrics follow to inspire. PLAY LOUD FOR BEST RESULTS.Please, feel free to use this song or share it or the site to anyone you so desire. It is my deepest prayer to get this into the hands of victims, families, firefighters, policemen, rescue workers, military and the world. TO GOD BE THE GLORY ! Only For Him, Susan D. Wiseman

Ma'am-

Tis appreciated, much thanks from me... I'll do my best to find a spot in the program for it. There is a section where we will memorialize the fallen in the ceremony and seeing as I'm doing the audio for it, it is more than likely going to find a spot.

Thank you very much for the heartfelt song.
