When I joinen my dept. I was considered a JR member. I was allowed to do any thing except for entering a burning building (excluding Drills) and opperating Dept. Vehicles (unless insturcted to by an officer). I was allowed to ride on any truck that I wanted to. The seats are first come first serve. Now that I am a Fire Fighter I am assinged to the L-2 which is the first truck to leave the barn.
