We had our monthly meeting tonight. One of the more productive ones that we've had in a good while. I wanted to address some of the projects we have undertaken - being as small as we are (5) and only being a year old.

We donated about $200 worth of food to the food bank last Christmas. All from funding we made at a bake sale. We talked about doing the same thing this year but since funds are low, on a smaller scale.

In the Spring, we hosted a bicycle rodeo for the elementary school that was REALLY fun. (pictures on our webpage) It didn't cost us anything - everything was donated to us. Great PR for the whole department.

We also try to help with the FD Easter Egg hunt and FD Spook House. The guys have always taken care of those and this year we jumped in to help. I was the only one from the Aux to work the spook house this year. It was a great deal of fun and we had about 225 kids, which is great for this tiny town. BTW, this was discussed somewhere else in here, but our Easter Egg hunt is open to the public.

I think thats about it. We have lots of big dreams and goals/plans, but with only 5 people things are moving very slowly and most projects have been put on the back burner for the time being.
