Looking for ideas on deploying a portable deluge gun

We currently have a TFT 1250 gpm portable deluge gun (Performs like a champ) It is mounted up on the deck between the jump seats. At present only space available.
QUESTION>>> Does anyone know of a (commercially made or home made style), type of cart "if you will" that can be placed on the rear step , that holds the device and maybe some supply line that will allow 1 or 2 FF's to deploy the device in a faster manner than the one currently used ie http://www.firehouse.com/interactive/boards/frown.gifremove from deck, built connections , pull hose etc.)Has anyone found a better way (want to expand on standard storage ie: take off rear deck and pull supply line as you go)

Try a Big Paulie nozzle, it's cheaper than a stinger, and you can get up to 800gpm from a handline using only two firefighters (or one big one).

Big Paulie is a 600 gpm nozzle designed to be deployed as a handline on a 2-1/2" or 3" line by two firefighters using special techniques. It is only 17 lbs.

SURE!!! WE use akron portable guns. Our engines are setup with the running board mt. on the tail board for the gun. The ground plate is in compt beside it. A shoulder load of 200' 3" line is preconnected in bed above it. Two men can deploy this in less than 90sec. Another idea we have tested is , the same load but with a water thief on the end with a 4' piece of hose on the end . this allows crew to have a shut off near gun for safety reasons as well as the ability to deploy two hand lines from same line once the fire is knocked down. Another idea is to equip your lines with Stortz couplings.

Our Dept recently purchased a Big Paulie and have only utilized it during practice but even in practice it proves to be a easy piece of equipment for any F/F to utilize, we now have it preconnected on our hose bed to expedite its use when manpower is at a minimum.
