Fire Dept New York City

I will be going to New York City next Friday. Can anyone tell me some things I need to see while I am there. (its our 25th anniversary). We are going to Empire State building, Broadway play, Statue of Liberty. etc.

Travel agent said we could see most sites in NY in 3-4days. I told wife this was not so..... FDNY has 221 stations. She didn't think it was too funny.

No kidding I would like to go to FDNY museum and maybe visit one of the fire boats if possible.

I am looking for any suggestions on where to go and visit.

This will be a prime example of country has come to the city!
