Hi

Many aspects of personality are controlled by morality. As a result, most behaviors are infl uenced by moral motives. Many conflicts and misunderstanding! s origin ate due to the differences people have in the levels of their morality. On our part we want to show you this through a quiz rather than simply telling you about these things

Good morals will lead you to good relations with others and eventually a happy life.

8 questions ~ 8 minutes

Take this morals test now and then tell us your opnion

Facebook is a great utility used to keep in touch with friends, but . . .

Apparently, since I have been on break from the college life, English Composition has been removed from the curriculum.

Hmmmm...

someone wanting me to take a quiz about my morals....

I think this sum it up...

I've got my own moral compass to steer by
A guiding star beats a spirit in the sky
And all the preaching voices -
Empty vessels of dreams so loud
As they move among the crowd
Fools and thieves are well disguised
In the temple and market place

Like a stone in the river
Against the floods of spring
I will quietly resist

Like the willows in the wind
Or the cliffs along the ocean
I will quietly resist

I don't have faith in faith
I don't believe in belief
You can call me faithless
I still cling to hope
And I believe in love
And that's faith enough for me

I've got my own spirit level for balance
To tell if my choice is leaning up or down
And all the shouting voices
Try to throw me off my course
Some by sermon, some by force
Fools and thieves are dangerous
In the temple and market place

Like a forest bows to winter
Beneath the deep white silence
I will quietly resist

I don't have faith in faith
I don't believe in belief
You can call me faithless
I still cling to hope
And I believe in love
And that's faith enough for me

Like a flower in the desert
That only blooms at night
I will quietly resist

I don't have faith in faith
I don't believe in belief
You can call me faithless
I still cling to hope
And I believe in love
And that's faith enough for me

Faithless, from Rush's CD "Snakes and Arrows"

Gonz,

Good lyrics and definitely agree with the message I took from that.

MORAL
1. "relating to the standards of good or bad behaviour, fairness, honesty, etc. which each person believes in, rather than to laws"

2. "behaving in ways considered by most people to be correct and honest"

MORALIST
"a person who tries to force or teach other people to behave in ways he or she considers to be most correct and honest"

MORALISTIC
"Someone or something that is moralistic judges people by fixed and possibly unfair standards of right and wrong and tries to force or teach them to behave according to these standards"

There you are, some definitions from the Cambridge (Online) Dictionary. Bold emphasis is mine. What are morals? I read once that 'morals are the customs of the times'. I would also add 'place', and emphasise that morals change over time.

I don't think I'll bother with that quiz, there's a good show starting now on TV...
