Purty impressive. I'll bet yer Granddaddy never saw a B29 perform like that! :D:D Boeing aircraft have always been pretty aerobatic, but I dont think a '29 was quite that good, even "right off the rack". :D

Awesome!
I went to the Collings Foundation Open House on June 14th. There was a model airplane club there with radio controlled aircraft, including a P-38 Lightning, an F4U Corsair and a working version of a Sikorsky/Ericcson Skycrane set op for firefighting ops (yes it actually was able to draft water and drop it!)
Here's a link to the Collings foundation.. they have quite a collection of WW2 and vietnam era warbirds!

We have an RC club up here where I live. Neat to watch them fly around too.
I see that COllings has a Huey. Flew in them a few times when Ft. Devens was still an active Army base (I am still pretty ticked that they let it close) and it was awesome. One of the guys I grew up with, his dad was a CWO in the Army and got group of us to fly in them. I still love Hueys - nothing will ever come close to them, and they do not crash anywhere near the frequency of Blackhawks.
Besides, the Corps is still flying Hueys and Cobras after almost 50 years so it can't be all bad right? And the sound of a Huey flying will NEVER be confused with another helicopter.
