We have had 2 consecutive fires in the polyethylene storage silos. The cause is still not determined . any ideas?? as to what can be contributing factors
The silo condition is there is residual ethylene gas, purge air to dilute and remove the ethylene and bonding wires to dissipate the static charge.All the ingredients for a fire are there but all of a sudden we have fires and the operations team are concerned.
